Documentation
Definition
The logical system identifier designates the local system or a component in the local system.
Use
Set this indicator if the system (or component) that is addressed using the logical system identifier exists locally in the system.
Dependencies
If this indicator was set, then an RFC connection no longer needs to be assigned to the logical system identifier.
If this indicator was not set then an entry must be created in setting Assign RFC Destination. If no RFC destination is assigned, this corresponds to setting the indicator local system.
Example
The logical system identifier has the following effect:
- The local SAP system is addressed. In this case, set the indicator 'local system'.
- A removed BW system is addressed. In this case, do not set the indicator and assign an RFC destination to the logical system identifier.
