Definition

Specifies the type of absence being processed.

The field is used in the following components:

  • Payroll Austria for special evaluations.
  • Public Sector Germany for calculating how long an employee should receive continued pay or a sick pay supplement.
  • Payroll Netherlands for calculating continued pay for illness.
  • Payroll Belgium to differentiate between half-day and whole-day periods of illness. If you select this field, the system selects the correct evaluation class and processes half days correctly.
