Documentation
Definition
Grouping of multiple groups or other plant groups that enables you to evaluate cross-plant BOPs.
Use
You can use cross-plant BOP evaluation in legal control for re-export regulations and in preference processing.
- Preference processing
You need plant groups in cross-plant preference calculation when you calculate the preference statement for a product based on a BOP that extends over several plants of a plant group. You form the cross-plant preference model using a plant group.
When you group the organizational units of the feeder system to create a plant group, you define the level for aggregating long-term vendor declarations and the preference results.
- Re-export
You can group plants for the cross-plant evaluation of a BOP in accordance with the re-export share of a product.
Dependencies
If you need to use plant groups for preference processing, you can also use them for re-export. If you use re-export only, you can group the plants together to form plant groups. Note, however, that the system does not perform an additional evaluation for the group itself in this case, but instead only for the plants within the group.
