Definition

If you set this indicator, the GTS system extends only those long-term vendor declarations (LTVDs) for which a positive preference statement was entered for one or more agreements.
LTVDs with exclusively negative agreements are not taken into consideration in this process; that is, they are not extended.

If the indicator is not set, then exclusively negative LTVDs are also extended in this process.

    Note

    Positive LTVD: One or more agreements with a positive preference statement for the respective product.

    Negative LTVD: Only agreements with negative preference statements for the respective product

Use

The process of extending long-term vendor declarations makes the following distinctions:

• If all agreements of the LTVD are positive, the LTVD is extended.
• If all agreements of the LTVD are negative, the LTVD is not extended.
• If some of the agreements of the LTVD are positive and the others negative, the LTVD is extended.
