Definition

The originating status of a product reflects the preference statement.

If the system shows the originating status as @5B@ , then the product is eligible for preference for the listed parameters such as Group of Logical Systems, Country, and Preference Agreement.

If the system shows the originating status as @5C@ , then the product is not eligible for preference for the listed parameters such as Group of Logical Systems, Country, and Preference Agreement.

If the system shows the originating status as @5D@ , then the product is eligible for preference for the listed parameters, such as Group of Logical Systems, Country, and Preference Agreement dependent on threshold values. The ultimate status can only be determined for a specific transaction. The product for a transaction represented by a document item is eligible for preference if the comparison value from the document item (such as EXW) exceeds the threshold.

If the system shows the originating status as @BZ@ , then no statement is given for preference eligibility of the product for the listed parameters such as Group of Logical Systems, Country, and Preference Agreement.
