Documentation
Definition
Key with which you define the exchange rates for the customs duty calculation in the system.
Use
You enter exchange rate types in order to store different exchange rates. Depending on the exchange rate fixing indicator, you can use this default exchange rate type or an exchange rate type for IATA exchange rates in the customs duty calculation.
Example
You can use the exchange rate type to define a buying rate, a bank selling rate, and an average rate for converting foreign currency amounts. You can use the average rate for the currency conversion, the buying rate, and the bank selling rate to valuate foreign currency exchange amounts.
