Definition

The aggregation rule enables you to define how the values in the customs documents will be aggregated for the small value exemption.

Use

If you choose "Aggregation Based on Export Control Classification Number", the system adds the values of all items with identical ECCNs.

If you choose "Aggregation Based on ECCNs/Document Numbers", the system uses the document number of the first document from the document flow for aggregation, in addition to the ECCN.

Example

You have created several sales documents and group them together in one delivery:

  • Order 1:
    • Item 1: Material A1 with export control classification number A; value 2000 euros
    • Item 2: Material A2 with export control classification number A; value 1000 euros
  • Order 2:
    • Item 1: Material A1 with export control classification number A; value 2000 euros
    • Item 2: Material A2 with export control classification number A; value 1000 euros
  • Outbound    
    • Item 1: Material A1 with export control classification number A (item 1 of order 1)
    • Item 2: Material A2 with export control classification number A (item 2 of order 1)
    • Item 3: Material A1 with export control classification number A (item 1 of order 2)
    • Item 4: Material A2 with export control classification number A (item 2 of order 2)

Aggregation in the outbound delivery:

  • Option "Aggregation Based on Export Control Classification Number":

    Order A1: Aggregation of all items: Total value 3000 euros

    Order A2: Aggregation of all items: Total value 3000 euros   

  • Option "Aggregation Based on ECCNs/Document Numbers":

    Order A1: Aggregation of all items: Total value 3000 euros

    Order A2: Aggregation of all items: Total value 3000 euros

Aggregation in the outbound delivery:

  • Option "Aggregation Based on Export Control Classification Number":

    Aggregation of all items: Total value 6000 euros   

  • Option "Aggregation Based on ECCNs/Document Numbers":

    Aggregation of items 1 and 2: Total value 3000 euros (both items from order A1)

    Aggregation of items 3 and 4: Total value 3000 euros (both items from order A2)
