Identification of a bill of materials within a BOM group.
Use
- The same end product can be modeled using several different (alternative) bills of material, for example, due to different manufacturing methods for different lot size ranges. These alternative bills of material are grouped together in a multiple BOM.
- Alternatives are maintained separately for different BOM usages.
