You can use this field to define the maximum number of search terms generated for each address of a master data entry for the sanctioned party list screening. The more search terms you allow per address, the more exact the sanctioned party list screening will be. At the same time, however, the system load increases accordingly, and the SPL screening takes longer. The fewer search terms you allow per address, the more imprecise the sanctioned party list will be; in turn, the runtime of the screening is reduced accordingly.
Note
The runtime, like the number of search terms, are dependent on the number of sanctioned party list entries and the number of partner master records to check. To ensure that the SPL screening runs as smoothly as possible, you should perform a number of test runs of the SPL screening using different values for the number of search terms. Then select the value for which the SPL screening runs the fastest.
