Documentation
Definition
To reduce the runtime of the sanctioned party list screening, the master data for the SPL screening is divided internally into search terms. When the sanctioned party list entries are checked against the partner address, the partner address is also divided into internal search terms. During the actual screening, only the generated search terms are compared.
You can configure the degree of detail for the search terms, as well as search terms will not be generated for certain terms (such as "Inc.") in Customizing.
To avoid having to determine the search terms again for each sanctioned party list screening, the terms are saved in the database and can be updated as necessary (that is, new SPL data is added or existing data changed).
