Documentation
Definition
You have selected an asynchronous transfer of business partners. The Type of SPL Block defines the system response in the feeder system during the time frame between the update of a new or changed business partner in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) and the subsequent SPL screening. The following options are available:
- 1 Process is interrupted - Service removes block
The asynchronously transferred business partner is assigned status "Not Checked - Blocked" until SPL screening runs and the system releases the master record after a positive check. If you create a document with this business partner in the interim, the feeder system blocks this document and interrupts the process in the feeder system.
- 0 Process is not interrupted - Service sets block
The asynchronously transferred business partner is assigned status "Not Checked - Free" until that business partner is subjected to SPL screening. The system only blocks the business partner if the SPL screening has a negative outcome. If you create a document with this business partner in the interim, the system does not intervene in the process, and the document remains released.
Use
Dependencies
If you have selected synchronous SPL screening, the system checks the business partner when it is updated in SAP GTS. The type of SPL block has no effect if the synchronous transfer business partners is used.
