Definition
Specify the date or period for the SPL master data update. An SPL update involves importing a new XML file or manually creating or modifying SPL master data.

Example
- You import a new XML file with new and/or changed SPL master data on August, 11th 2003.
To check the partner master or relevant documents against the new and modified SPL master data, enter 11.08.2003 as the date of the SPL update. The system then determines all SPL entities, which were created or changed on this date. - Create new SPl entities manually in the period between 11.08.2003 and 13.08.2003 and modify existing SPL entities. Import an update from your data provider on 14.08.03.
To check your partner master with your documents against the new and modified SPL master data, restrict the "Data in the SPL update" parameter as follows: 11.08.2003 to 14.08.2003. - You want to check your partner master against all addresses that have been created or changed since the start of the year.
To do so, enter the following in the "Data in the SPL update" field:
01.01.2003 to 30.12.9999
