Definition
In this field you define the absolute length of the structure section for the corresponding number in the customs tarif system.
Example
An export list number 5B991 (test equipment set up for telecommunications) consists of 5 characters and is subdivided as follows:
Structure section 1: Category
The number 5 identifies category 5 (5 corresponds to telecommunications for example).
Structure section 2: Group
The letter B represents the group within the category (in category 5 for example, group B represents the test, check and production equipment)
Structure section 3: Product
The remaining 3 places identify the actual products or goods.
When defining the structure sections described above, you should now select the following lengths respectively:
Select length 1 for the unit, length 2 for the group and length 5 for structure section 3. The lengths of upstream structure levels must be included on this basis.
