Definition
Product number for the initial quantity of a product in case of the typical customs warehouse handling of repacking.
Use
You can repack products within the framework of an authorization for typical warehouse handling. In the process, you can change the package size or quantity per unit. If you manage the delivery quantity of the initial product and the refilled quantity of the repacked product under different product numbers in your system, you can specify the product number of the initial size/quantity of a product as a reference product.

Example
When you receive a chemical substance in a tanker truck with 30,000 liters and transfer it to the customs warehouse procedure, but need this chemical substance in 1-liter bottles for subsequent processing or sale, you can repack within the customs warehouse procedure (as long as you have a valid authorization to do so).
