Definition
Log residence time in days
Use
The residence time specifies how long an object is stored in the operational database. An object cannot be archived until the residence time has expired. The residence time consists of a number of periods and a period unit.
The object-specific residence time must be greater than the minimum residence time that is defined in the check table for global archiving control.
The residence time refers only to calendar days. It is not based on posting days or workdays.
