Use
The action definition describes the content of an action independently of the processing type. At the action definition level, it is specified how the actions are found, which possibilities exist for the processing of actions and whether they are set up to specific partners.
Example:
In the action definition order acknowledgment, it is specified that the order acknowledgment is generated when an order is saved and is sent to the sold-to party either as a letter (print out) or as a fax.
The documents generated can be stored in a content repository when certain processings are performed (print, fax and e-mail). The object type PPFOUTPUT from PPF is used with the document type PPFOUTPUT. Note that both the PPFOUTPUT and the document type used by your application refer to the same content repository.
