The comparison method specifies how the system determines the preference eligibility of a product. The following options are available for determining the preference eligibility:
- 0 - External Preference Document through long-term vendor declarations or manual setting of preference indicator
- 1 - Transaction Value Method for preference determination
- 2 - Net Code Method for preference determination
- 3 - Tariff Shift (NAFTA) that reflects the fulfillment of a condition
