Definition

If your products are reclassified, then the products have two different tariff numbers in the same validity period. If you have not defined preference rules yet for the new tariff numbers, then preference determination may be incorrect for the reclassified products. The classification data and preference rules match on this specific date, to ensure that determination returns the correct results.

Dependencies

Preference determination uses the classification data that is valid on the specified date, however, the results are saved and displayed valid as of the determination point.
