Definition
External ID for Shipping Unit
Use
In addition to the internal number that is automatically assigned for a shipping unit, you can enter an external ID. If you pack materials on a pallet, for example, you can enter the pallet number. You can also use the International Article Number (EAN) as an external ID.
Dependencies
In addition to the external ID, you can also enter the external ID type. If you leave the Id.Type and SU Identification fields empty, the system automatically proposes the internal number of the shipping unit as an external ID.
