Definition

The procedure for defaulting data determines which rule for defaulting data is used to determine messages in the document.

Use

To create default data for messages, you do the following:

  • Define a procedure for defaulting data
  • Define a field combination for the required source fields
  • Assign a rule for defaulting data to the procedure for defaulting data; only the $MESSAGE target field is permitted
  • Assign accesses to the rules for defaulting data
  • Define procedure determination

At the level of the rule for default data, default data can be activated or deactivated.

Specification of the sequence number for accesses is optional and determines the sequence of the default data.
