Definition

The country of departure/destination is used to access the tables that are used to determine active legal regulations.

If an export is involved, this field represents the country of departure. If an import is involved, it represents the country of destination.

Note

Within the activation of legal regulations, this field contains the countries for which legal regulations are active (that is, are checked).
To determine active legal regulations for a business transaction, the system uses the country of the legal unit at the item level of the customs document.
