Definition

ID of a program run for tracking products that are relevant for ITAR controls, by the user.

Use

To save the tracking results of products that are relevant for ITAR controls, you have to specify an ITAR tracking ID, to locate the results at a later times.

Dependencies

An ITAR tracking ID can be used several times in different program runs. However, we recommend choosing IDs for specific persons, projects, and objects, and not just assigning them arbitrarily. You should also make sure it is easy to recognize, as the users have to specify it where in the system.

Example

  • Person-specific ITAR tracking ID: user name, personnel number, and so on
  • Project-specific ITAR tracking ID: project number, program number, and so on
  • Object-specific ITAR tracking ID: product number, number of legal unit, and so on
  • Combined ITAR tracking ID: user name and project number, and so on
