Definition

Period to declaration from worklist "Customs Declaration after Goods Receipt" in days

Use

You use this field to control how long an item in the "Customs Declaration after Goods Receipt" worklist should remain unprocessed in background processing.

If no value is specified, the item can be processed immediately. If you specify a value in days, the item can remain unprocessed until the defined period has expired. The base for calculating the period is the creation date of the item in the "Customs Declaration after Goods Receipt" worklist.

Dependencies

This flag is evaluated in combination with and dependent on the "Inbound Delivery Complete" flag, which can be set in the feeder system. The period specified here is the maximum retention period in the "Customs Declaration after Goods Receipt" worklist, but can be canceled by setting the "Inbound Delivery Complete" flag. If the inbound delivery is flagged as complete before the period specified here, the item can be processed immediately even if the period has not expired yet.

This response only applies to background processing of the "Customs Declaration after Goods Receipt" worklist. In dialog processing, a warning message is output; the customs declaration can be created anyway. As such, creating a customs declaration manually from the "Customs Declaration after Goods Receipt" worklist overrides the period specified here.
