Definition

This completion flag enables the user to detect encoded, process-specific completion information from the customs authorities.

Use

The flag is set automatically through inbound processing of customs messages.

Dependencies

Example

The completion flag (finding/tax notice) is not relevant for import processing in the German ATLAS system until a supplementary customs declaration (SCD) is created. After a simplified customs declaration (simp. CD / local clearance notification), the customs authorities must transmit value 7 here to enable further processing of the document in an SCD. The possible confirmation values from the customs authority:

  1. Declared invalid by the office
  2. Declared invalid upon request
  3. Declared invalid
  4. Non-conclusive declaration of import duties or non-conclusive recognition of tax base
  5. Conclusive declaration of import duties or conclusive recognition of tax base
  6. Conclusive declaration of import duties or conclusive recognition of taxbase after elimination of reasons for non-conclusive declaration
  7. Sent to clearing house or monitoring main customs office
