Definition

For certain sensitive goods, you have to specify a binding itinerary in the transit procedure. In other words, you must define which countries (or customs offices) may be passed through in the transit procedure.

Use

The details of the binding itinerary consist of a description of the route and an indicator of whether the binding itinerary is suspended or not.

The 'Suspend binding itinerary' indicator is set if the customs authorities have issued the person responsible with a suspension for the binding itinerary.
