Definition
Name of an (external) field.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0001
Use
Name of a table field.
Procedure
The name of a field can contain a maximum of 10 characters and must start with a letter. The following characters can be letters, numbers or underlines.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0002
Use
Name of the table field you selected for single field maintenance.
Procedure
You can use Goto -> Previous Field or Next Field to edit fields in the table on an individual basis.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0003
Use
Key field in the CHECK TABLE, to which the foreign key field in the foreign key table is assigned.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0004
Use
Name of a table field that is relevant to the index.
Procedure
Specify the table fields that are relevant to the index or use Edit -> Select Fields to access the corresponding list of table fields from where you can select the fields required.
When you return to the Maintain Table (Index) screen, fields are transferred to the index field list in the order in which they were selected.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0005
Use
Name of the basic fields from the associated tables.
The key fields that the system has copied into the view automatically are listed here. These fields are defined accordingly in the Key column.
Procedure
To select additional fields, place the cursor on the name of the table required and choose Edit -> Select Fields. Select the table fields to be copied into the view from the list of table fields. These fields are copied when you return to the maintenance screen.
If two fields from different tables have the same name, you must enter a new name for at least one of these fields in the View Field column.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0006
Use
Names of the view fields
The system enter the names of the table fields selected as the names of the view fields here as a default setting.
Procedure
You can change the names of the view fields.
If two fields from different tables have the same name, you must specify a new name for at least one of these fields here.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0007
Use
Names of the table fields that are involved in view selection requirements.
Field requirements do not have to refer to the same fields that belong the view. They can be specified for any fields from the associated basic tables.
Procedure
To view a list of all fields, choose Edit -> Select Fields. You can select fields from this list and copy these to specify field requirements.
Dependencies
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0008
Use
Names of the table fields that are to be copied from the tables that belong to the matchcode object.
The key fields for all tables that are relevant to the matchcode object are displayed automatically. These fields are defined accordingly in the Key column.
Procedure
All fields, which are used in any matchcode ID for this object, must be copied into the matchcode object. The matchcode object must also contain all primary key fields for the tables involved, which are not also foreign key fields, as a minimum.
The sequence of fields in the matchcode object has no relevance here.
To select fields, place the cursor on the name of the table required and choose Select Fields or Edit -> Select Fields. The system displays the fields in the tables affected and these fields can be copied into the matchcode object.
If two fields from different tables have the same name, a new name must be entered in the MC Field column for at least one of these fields.
Dependencies
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0009
Definition
Names of the matchcode fields
Use
The system enters the names of the table fields selected as the names of the matchcode fields as a default setting.
These names are then specified in the definition of the matchcode IDs for the matchcode object.
Procedure
You can change the names of the matchcode fields.
If two fields from different tables have the same name, you must specify a new name for at least one of these fields.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0010
Use
Names of the table fields that are entered in the lock arguments.
Procedure
Since lock arguments can be defined by the system automatically, you cannot make any changes here.
If this column contains fields with the same name from various tables, you must enter different names for these fields in the Lock Argument column.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0011
Use
Names of the table fields to be locked.
All fields in the tables involved in the lock object are entered using * as a default setting.
Procedure
If you want to change this default setting so that a table is only locked by specific fields, enter these fields here or transfer the corresponding fields from a field list.
Exexcute the following steps:
- Delete the line that contains the entry * .
- Place the cursor on the table from which you want to transfer the fields.
- Choose Edit -> Select Fields or Select Fields .
- Enter the mode on the next screen in the first column in front of the fields to be transferred.
- Return to the initial screen. An overview of the fields selected is now displayed on this screen.
Dependencies
Note that a lock currently locks all fields in the table even if you have only selected specific fields here.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0012
Use
Names of the lock parameters.
The system enters the names of the table fields as the names of the lock parameters as a default setting.
Procedure
You can assign new names for the lock parameters here.
These names must however be unique.
Dependencies
You must assign new names for lock parameters if fields with the same names from various tables are involved, to ensure that the names of the lock parameters remain unique.
Supplementary Documentation - /SAPSLL/FDTYP0013
Use
Event generation can be dependent on specific field restrictions, which are produced from the old and/or new value of the database field.
Procedure
If you maintain your own field restriction, enter the field here that is to influence generation of the event.
Dependencies
You must make an entry in the "Field Name" input field. If you want to make event generation dependent on creating or deleting entries in the table entered, enter KEY as the field name.
