Definition
This indicator enables the user to detect encoded, process-specific completion information from the customs authorities.
Use
The indicator is set automatically through inbound processing of customs messages.
Dependencies
Example
The completion indicator (finding/tax notice) is used in import processing in the German ATLAS system for creating supplementary customs declarations (SCD). After a simplified customs declaration (simplified CD / local clearance notification), the customs authorities must transmit value 7 or 8 in this field to enable further processing of the document in an SCD. The possible confirmation values from the customs authority:
1 - Officially Declared Invalid
2 - Declared Invalid upon Request
3 - Declared Ineffective
4 - Non-Final Determination of Import Duties or Non-Final Recognition of Tax Base
5 - Final Determination of Import Duties or Final Recognition of Tax Base
6 - Final Determination of Import Duties or Final Recognition of Tax Base After Elimination of Reasons for Non-Final Determination
7 - Sent to Billing Office or Monitoring Main Customs Office
8 - Submitted to Person Responsible at Main Customs Office
