The end use can model several intended uses for a customs product.

Use

The intended uses for end use make it possible to assign a customs product to several tariff numbers, dependent on its use. The intended uses are freely definable.

Dependencies

• This function can be activated for numbering schemes for customs tariff numbers.
• Integration with feeder systems

  You can pass the end use of a customs product on to SAP GTS through the API interfaces, to create customs documents, customs declarations, and worklists. The corresponding customs tariff code is determined accordingly.

An example for differing classification dependent on end use can be found in Chapter 87 of the European TARIC: shock absorbers (8708 80) are differentiated by
