Documentation
Definition
The transaction number identifies a customs declaration in the fallback procedure. In contrast to the number for the fallback procedure, the transaction number in the fallback procedure identifies exactly one delivery of goods.
Use
Customs regulations in Austria, Spain and the Netherlands require electronic submission of a customs declaration subsequently when service is restored after a failure. In this case, the customs officials use the transaction number both to identify the declaration and to link it with the form-based declaration in the fallback procedure.
The transaction number can be entered in the customs document when the fallback procedure is active.
