Definition

This parameter controls the creation of a document when the fallback procedure is active. You can choose from the following options:

  • Create documents immediately in fallback procedure
  • Create documents in the otherwise normal procedure, as if the fallback procedure were not active

Use

If the fallback procedure is scheduled and its duration is known, you can avoid the fallback procedure for normal documents. At the end of the fallback procedure, you simply process the documents as usual. This avoids the additional effort that results from paper-based processing in the fallback procedure, as well as from transferring the documents from the fallback procedure to the normal procedure.

If you have time-critical transactions, you can transfer them to the fallback procedure explicitly and process them according to the fallback procedure rules.

Set the parameter to create documents in the standard procedure or reset it to create the documents immediately in the fallback procedure.

Dependencies

This parameter is only relevant if you have activated the fallback procedure.
