Specifies the respective laws or regulations, which apply to foreign trade in a specific country. Each legal regulation has its own type of licenses.

Example

The legal export agreements are defined in the USA in the Export Administration Act (EAA) and the corresponding Export Adminstration Regulations (EAR).

Legal export agreements are divided into the German foreign trade administration act and the corresponding German foreign trade regulations in Germany.

Various legal agreements can apply to an export. The system therefore determines the corresponding license from all active legal agreements for each item in a document during the legal control.
