Definition

Classification of a duty rate with regard to its automatic calculability.

Use

Duty rates that do not use one of the calculation bases 'quantity', 'weight', or 'value' (percentage) or that are subject to conditions that cannot be mapped in the system, are classified as complex. The system does not automatically calculate these duty rates. For complex duties, you can manually enter the duty value.

Details on the calculation regulations or conditions for use can be found in the texts for the duty rates. You can display the details for the duty rate by calling them up directly from the calculation result display.
