Documentation
Definition
A numbering scheme created in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) represents a numbering system. SAP GTS distinguishes between the following four different types of numbering systems:
- Import control classification numbers
- Export control classification numbers
- Tariff code numbers (such as electronic customs tariff, harmonized system, and so on)
- Commodity codes
Depending on how a numbering scheme is defined, you must specify the type of numbering system the scheme belongs to. The type of numbering system is the basis for the existing checks performed on the given number scheme.
