Definition
This field is for entering the numbering scheme of the custom code.
Use
In the restitution area, the refund rates for products in the form of goods that do not come under Annex 1 of the contract, are set in accordance with the eight-digit CN code.
The basic products that come under non-Annex 1 goods (Annex A of Reg. (EU) No. 1222/94, VSF M 3510), and sugar and syrups in processed products from fruit and vegetables (art. 16 of GMO Processed Products from Fruit and Vegetables, VSF M 02 17), are encoded for the purposes of calculating restitution rates.
The 10-digit key numbers are composed as follows:
- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 = Combined Nomenclature code numbers
- 9 10 = extra codes for encoding
The key numbers are obtained from the directory of key numbers (VSF M 80 12). The applicant specifies them in the application for payment of restitution and in the manufacturer's recipe.
