Definition

You use this indicator to define whether the SPL address or the business partner address is the leading value during the check of original terms.

Use

You can choose from the following values:

    Basis for Comparison Exclusively from Sanctioned Party List

1    Basis for Comparison Exclusively from Business Partner

2    Basis for Comparison the SPL and BP Addresses in Parallel

Dependencies

Example

Name of SPL address:    Majeed
Name of partner address:    Majed

Field "Minimum Matches - Search Term" is set to 90%.

If you select "Basis for Comparison Exclusively from Sanctioned Party List", the system calculates a match rate of 83% in the above example because 5 of 6 letters match. In this case, no hits are returned because the defined 90% is not reached.

If you select "Basis for Comparison Exclusively from Business Partner", the system calculates a 100% match and returns one hit.

If you select "Basis for Comparison the SPL and BP Addresses in Parallel", the system first calculates the 83% and then the 100%, but does not return any hits.
