Definition
The country group for the country of departure/destination is used to access the tables for determining active legal regulations. You can use a country group to combine a number of countries.
In the case of exports, this field represents the country group to which the country of departure in the business transaction belongs.
In the case of imports, this field represents the country group to which the country of destination in the business transaction belongs.
Use
When legal regulations are being activated, this field contains the country groups for whose countries legal regulations are active; that is, are being checked.
To determine the active legal regulations for a business transaction, the system uses the country group of the country of the legal unit at item level in the customs document.
