Definition

Number of packages that can be processed in one package during a costing run.

Package formation is required for the mass processing of bills of material for costed products. This value determines the size of the formed BOM packages. The parameter impacts the main memory requirements and runtime in a logical unit of work (LUW). The number of BOMs processed in a single package should be selected dependent on the size of the individual BOMs. A default value is proposed.
