Definition
In this field, you enter the proportional value of the assigned basic product as a multiplier.
Use
In calculating the requisition for non-Annex-1 goods, the deciding factor may not be the component specified in the bill of product, but the basic products required by the customs authorities. The European Commission specifies a coefficient for the relationship of the bill of product component and the basic product. The coefficient is the proportional value of 1 percent by weight (such as 1% fat) of the basic product. In this field, you enter the relevant proportional value of the basic product you are using.
Example
You have assigned the component 'condensed milk' to your bill of product. The following basic products are relevant to the requisition calculation:
- Dried whole milk (CAP number 040210199790)
- Butter (CAP number 040510199799)
Assuming a dairy fat content of 27 percent by weight, you have to enter the multiplier 27 in this field.
