Use
You use this parameter to control how the system pre-assigns the goods description in the customs declaration or customs shipment.
The transfer of the goods description from an external application is only possible for customs declarations and customs shipments that the system created from an SD billing document from SAP ERP, and for customs declarations created in SAP TM.
The short text of the SD billing document item is used as the goods description in the customs declaration or customs shipment.
You can choose from the following entries to transfer the goods description:
- 'A' - transfer from the document item of the external application, if known
The system transfers the goods description if it is known in the feeder system and is to be transferred over the interface of the external application to the GTS system.
If the goods description is not known in the feeder system, the system transfers the product description directly from the product master record. - 'X' - transfer from the document item of the external application
The goods description is derived from the short text of the item in the originating document, which the GTS system adopts from the feeder system. - ' ' - transfer from product master record
The goods description is derived from the product description in the product master record.
