Definition
ABI International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Country Code.
Interface Harmonized Tariff Schedule:
A code representing the country. Valid ISO country codes are listed in Appendix B. E followed by a space (Caribbean Basin Initiative), and J followed by a space (Andean Trade Preference Act), and R followed by a space (Caribbean Trade Partnership Act), are also valid codes for special rates. Countries eligible for E and J are indicated in the ACS country code file and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States Annotated (HTS).
Interface Add Manufacturer Name & Address:
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) country code representing the location of the firm for all countries except Canada. Valid ISO country codes are listed in Appendix B.
The province/territory codes are to be used for Canadian shippers/ manufacturers instead of the ISO code. Valid Canadian Province/ Territory Codes for the purposes of manufacturer ID are:

For cities in the United States, only 'US' should be used as the ISO code. There are twenty-four ISO codes that match US State postal states. These should not be used when creating an MID for the United States: AR, AL, AZ, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, IN, KE, LA, MA, MD, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, PA, SC, SD, TN, VA.
