Definition
For the trend test, the system plots a straight line through the demand history of the last 24 periods according to the method of the least squares, as well as a horizontal from the average values of the demand history. The system then forms the quotient from the sum of the squared deviations of the line and from the sum of the squareddeviations of the horizontal. If this quotient is greater than the entry in this field, one condition for a successful trend test is met.
