Definition
An entry in this field causes the amplitude of the seasonal effect to be dampened. It is used in combination with forecast strategy 35, seasonal linear regression. The system forms an average of the number of periods entered in this field, centered around the peak values (both positive and negative). It then uses this average to produce a dampened seasonal forecast.
An entry in this field is optional. You can only enter positive integer values
In general SAP recomends that you enter a value of 1. This is also the default value.
