Definition
Specifies the time bucket in which the forecast is calculated and the results are displayed.
Procedure
If you are maintaining a master forecast profile, enter a period indicator.
Dependencies
This period indicator must be included in the storage buckets profile on which the planning area is based.

Procedure
The fields Start date, End date, Number of periods and For period, and the button Proposal in the phase-in/phase-out profile are interdependent. You must make entries in all of the fields. This is what you do:
- Enter a start date.
- Enter an end date.
- If necessary, overwrite the value in the field For period. The default is the period indicator from the master forecast profile.
- Click the button Proposal.
- The system calculates the number of periods in the phase-in/phase-out horizon and enters that number in the field No. of periods.
