Definition

You have selected the Croston method as the forecast strategy. This method uses sporadic historical data to create a forecast. Usually the forecast demand is distributed equally among all the time buckets in the forecast period. However, if you set this indicator, the system distributes the demand intermittently. During processing the systen detrmines the average interval between buckets with demand in the past. When distributing the forecast demand, it uses this interval.
