Definition

Use

In the declining demand forecast model, the system calculates a monthly start point and a monthly growth rate. To determine the monthly start point, the system calculates an upper and a lower limit within which the monthly start point must lie.

When calculating this lower limit, the system differentiates between products with low, medium, and high costs. In this field, you determine the cost threshold that the price of a product must exceed for it to be classed as a high-cost product. If the price of a product lies below this cost threshold but above your entry in the Low Cost Threshold in DDF Model field, the product is a medium-cost product.
