As part of the forecast for the average demand size per order item (demand/item) with the moving average model, if there were four or more occurences of demand in the last 52 weeks, the system checks whether the increase in the number of the forecasted order items of the forecast in the last month is at least as big as the entry in this field.

This is one of the conditions that must be met for the system to use the same length of the demand history for calculating the average demand/item forecast as for the order items forecast.
