Definition

Use

Specify how you want the system to calculate the coefficient values for future periods.

  • If you leave the field empty or select Forecasted, the system determines the coefficient values for future periods by taking the coefficient history and using the history to create a forecast for the future coefficient values. The planning service "SPP: Preparation Service for LI-Base Forecast" creates the coefficient history.

    You can define your own forecast profile for the coefficient key figures.

  • If you select 1 Constant Value, the system takes the value that you entered in the field Constant Value of Coefficient as the coefficient value for future periods.
  • If you select 2 Imported/Specified Manually, the system does not calculate the coefficient values for future periods, but uses the values specified by you. You can either specify coefficient values for future periods on the Interactive Forecasting screen, or import them using a Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI).
