The Long Text Field checkbox determines if the system assigns a long text field only to one specific object type of an item or initiative, or to all object types.
Use
If you want this long text field to appear only in the item type or initiative type to which you assign it, you select the checkbox.
If you want this long text field to be displayed for all item types or initiative types, you do not select the checkbox.
