Definition

Start point for periodic work schedule (PWS).

Use

The combination of reference date and start point for PWS will be used to specify the date when the periodic work schedule starts.

Example

In this example there are three work schedule rules with different planned working times per day. Shift_1 is 8:00 - 16:00, Shift_2 is 16:00 - 24:00 and Shift_3 is 00:00 - 8:00.

Work Schedule Rule    Periodic Work Schedule    Reference Date    Start Point

Shift_1            Three_Shifts_Schedule        04.01.2010        1

Shift_2            Three_Shifts_Schedule        04.01.2010        8

Shift_3            Three_Shifts_Schedule        04.01.2010        15

The system will use the reference date 04.01.2010 and the start points 1 (First Monday), 8 (Second Monday) and 15 (Third Monday) to assign rotating shifts to all weeks after 04.01.2010. This means for example that Shift_1 will start on 25.01.2010 again.
