Documentation
Definition
Specifies how many hierarchy levels the current qualification-catalog tree may have
Use
The system does not allow more hierarchy levels to be created than are specified under Maximum Number of Hierarchy Levels.
Dependencies
The upper limit for the maximum number of hierarchy levels is defined in Customizing for all qualification catalogs in a client. This Customizing value is the default value for all qualification catalogs in the respective client.
If you increase the field value in the catalog, the system checks whether the maximum number is greater than that permitted by the Maximum Number of Hierarchy Levels field in the Customizing table.
You cannot set the field value in the catalog to a value that is lower than the number of hierarchy levels already used in the catalog.
